Better You/Challenge 13


Last Easter I was having Grey so this Easter maybe I will actually get to see the kids with their Easter Bunny Baskets!

How are all the challenges going? I still want you to work on all the past ones we did! I am still drinking water, still paying it forward, trying to do mask, vitamins, mediate, try new workouts, keep up with my food journal, and so forth! This week the challenge is to drink green tea!

Everyday I want you to have 1 cup of green tea!

Better You/Challenge 12

How is that new workout music doing? I told you! Made the week better didn’t it?!?!

This week I challenge you to track you food with a food journal if you aren’t already!

A food journal is a great way to see what you are eating, how much, and when!

Really this is the best way to be healthy and lose a few extra pounds. In the past I have just written it in a small notebook but since I got my new fitbit I have been just using their app. It was hard at first estimating portions and calories but I have done it so much and for so long it is just easy for me now! You will get there!

The one below is a little much for me but there are a lot of great ones online as well as apps!

Mine is usually a 3 inch small notebook and I jot down breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner! But you can go all out and do charts like below or other things online!

Better You/Challenge 11

Challenge 11 is easy and fun! Ready?!?!?! Here it is…..


That is it! Really how simple is that? It isn’t like back in the day when you would have to make a mixed tape! You can download new songs right to your phone in just a few minutes! This will help you get to and through your workout! Music always make the workout more fun and pass by quicker!

Better You/Challenge 10

How are you doing? What about Water? Paying it Forward? Mask? Raw Veggies? Vitamins? Meditation? 

This week I want you to have NO NEGATIVE THOUGHTS!

That is right…you heard me! NO NEGATIVE THOUGHTS!

Whenever a negative thought pops in your head you push it right back out! Doesn’t matter if it is about yourself, the person next to you, whatever it is……NO NEGATIVE THOUGHTS!!!

Better You/ Challenge 9

The challenge this week………..drum roll please………

I want you to go TWO DAYS WITHOUT sugar!


Okay so what do I mean? I mean CRAZY noticeable sugars….like take the sugar out of your coffee, no candy bars, cokes, slushes, tea’s…… that sort of thing! I know fruit or carrots have it – I don’t care about that type of thing. I am talking about straight up noticeable bad sugars! I use to drink my coffee with sugar now I have taught myself to drink it with just some foamed milk and 1 tsp of coconut oil! I USE to LOVE candy bars now I just eat my fruit and I am happy! See what I am getting at here?

I am talking about IN YO’ FACE SUGARS!

Things like fruit don’t bother me because they are from nature! We need some sugar in our body so I feel that these are harmless. I do try to eat them with fiber, protein, or something that will slow down digestion of the sugar. 

IF you make the two days try to do 3 then 4. TRUST ME!!! YOU ARE TALKING TO THE OLD SUGAR QUEEN HERE!!!! I promise you once you eliminate it and take it out of your diet after a few weeks you won’t crave it like you use to and when you do eat it it will be too rich for you!

Better You Project/Challenge 8

How are you doing? Are you trying to do my challenges? I know they have made me feel better! I have been more positive and really focused on being a better person! That is my goal at the end of the year! I want to have worked on myself so much that by the end of the year I am a BETTER PERSON OVERALL!! To be a better person that sometimes means taking care of myself with a facial or meditation or a jog! Some of these challenges may sound silly but they are reminders to take care of ourselves mind, body, and spirit! 

Still drinking your water? I am! I average between 1/2 to 1 gallon a day! NOT everyday! I have my bad days for sure! I am getting obsessed with water now!  Still taking Vitamins? For the most part I am! Some days I accidentally miss but doing pretty good! What about raw veggies a day? Not everyday? Me neither. I am trying though! I haven’t eaten them almost everyday! Whenever you have time to squeeze in a mask please do it and don’t forget to continue to pay it forward! I haven’t done the mask every week but I am going to try to be better at that. I am still paying it forward to people I am helping! As far as a different workout I changed it up by running 3 miles outside! I haven’t really done that in FOREVER! I have just been doing 1 mile or so on the treadmill! It was nice to get back outside and to run a longer distance! Did you write your loved ones notes and yourself a list?

This week I want you to Meditate! For just 5 minutes a day! Probably the best time is with your coffee in the morning or late a night before bed! Everyday this week try to set aside 5 minutes so that you can clear your head. I promise the mediation is going to help you think straight, relax, and be able to handle what is thrown your way!

OH YEAH it’s FRIYAY and I’m getting to my goal slowly but surely!



I am super excited for numerous reasons:

1. I’m alive and healthy as well as my family

2. Tonight is Charity Ball and I donated a painting of the New Grammy Museum for the live auction. I can’t wait for everyone to see it! I am one of the first to paint it and the LA Grammy Reps have seen it to approve it! Woo hoo! I’m gonna celebrate tonight! 

3. I am on my way to my “fit” body and my stomach is getting there! I have been working so hard to have an awesome stomach when Russell and I go on our beach vacay in May! The hard work is paying off I just have to keep pushing through!

What are you doing a dance about today? Not doing a dance? WHY? Find something to dance about! We are alive isn’t that something to dance about in itself?!?!?
